Sometimes we see things which seem to be wrong and feel that we should do something to help the victim, for example, a man pulling a girl, but we don’t always stand up for those strangers to help them. But, this is not the case with this teen from Montreal. He followed his instinct, endangered his life and saved a woman from the clutches of a dreaded kidnapper.

On 1st August 2015, 17 years old Malyk Bonnet decided to follow his instinct that something is wrong and decided to intervene, which perhaps saved a woman’s precious life.
He was going home after finishing his shift at the restaurant he works at when he saw a man and woman arguing. He told BBC news that the man was screaming at the girl, and when he thought that he would hit her, and so he got a bit closer.

As he was in the vicinity, the man asked Bonnet to lend them money to take the bus to a nearby city, Laval. Bonnet, instead of denying it, lent the money. When the man was away, the woman pleaded Bonnet to help her.
This touched Bonnet, and though did not have any plans to go to Laval, but went anyways to keep an eye on the man. He said that he wanted to keep them in public eye so as to ensure he is not able to hurt her.

After reaching Laval, he asked the couple to eat something the bill of which he would pay. He gave them $50. Then he went to the restroom. There he called the police and told them that someone has been kidnapped. After that, shortly the cops arrived and took the situation under control.

Bonnet was unaware of the fact that the woman had been kidnapped hours before he bumped into them. The abuser had already been behind bars for some time previously as he assaulted and sent a death threat to his ex.
