The picture below shows a White Sands Rehabilitation patient and how he used to look like when he was addicted to meth. This picture was taken in a police station about a year ago. One can easily understand from the picture that he looks extremely sick and bloated, with haunted eyes. However, someone who has been involved with drugs earlier in their life will probably realize that this is what happens to people when they abuse drugs. The blue cross blue shield rehab helps victims of drugs overcome the issue.

Take a look at the picture on the right. That’s his most recent picture. He has completed his tenth stint in meth addiction treatment in a meth and alcohol rehab in town. It’s almost impossible to recognize him in this picture after this shocking transformation.

He has also written about how he progresses each day to fight addiction. He stated that he didn’t leave meth overnight; it was an extremely tiring and ugly journey. He made this decision to start fighting against addiction after he was about to commit suicide. He added that meth makes you so sick that you aren’t able to eat anything else. As a result, there were so many wounds, and so less facial hair, since the body wasn’t receiving enough nutrition.

For the last 4 years, he was living an extremely troubled life – he didn’t have any home and often faced legal charges from authorities. He couldn’t take this anymore and finally one day, decided to commit suicide by jumping from the Smith Bridge. Fortunately, the police saved him and sent him to the psych ward. He then went for treatment. Although, this was the 10th time he had attempted treatment, he believes that he has been successful this time.

He lost his friends and family during this period of addiction. However, now that he is no longer a drug addict, his friends have started coming back to his life.

He believes he still has a long way to go. He will start helping his family and getting better at the same time. His most precious gift after he got rid of meth addiction is the birth of her sister’s daughter, and he wants to perform every duty possible as her uncle.
