Eli was a poor kitten, only 1 day old, when he was found among his siblings, who have all passed away. On top of that, his mother couldn’t be found. Cindy, who was a member of a foster home in Seattle, Washington decided to take Eli there to bottle feed and take care of him. Fortunately for Eli, another foster cat named Madeleine who also gave birth to her kittens recently, accepted her.
Madeleine accepted her and first gave him a proper bath to welcome him. Cindy said, “Eli now has a loving family. I often wonder what happened to Madeleine’s first litter of kittens, which happened before she was brought to me. It is quite surprising how Eli was the only survivor.” Cindy said that they follow a routine with Eli – she bottle feeds him, then Madeleine cleans him and then potties him. Eli now has two mothers looking after him and is growing up into a healthy cat.
